There hundreds of jobs in the film industry so I am interested in anything in the field. I'm interested mainly in the production side of film.
Audience Profile
The practice of analysing and segregating audiences based on the shared behaviours to the market to them more effectively is called audience profile. It helps them change the way they reach out to their audience, the way they spread their message to the intended audience. Helps to understand the right audience, figure out their interests, attitude and where to find them online.
Examples of businesses that actual use audience profiling are online newspaper companies and fitness companies. Both analyse the demographic of their target audience, psychographic and thing that they like and dislike. This type of analysis helps them perfect in their marketing strategies.
Client Contact/Target
I'll be working with one other pupil from my class complete this clients goal, our client would like a video for black history month. A video that shows the tight knit community of Stanmore college and how well everyone gets along.
The client had asked for a video that is around 30 seconds long, that contained interviews of black teachers and students around the college, as the video is about/ for black history month.
Target Audience/Profiling
The target audience that I had in mind for this video were ages 16 and over, as this is the age range of the college. Both genders and both teachers and students of Stanmore college are the target audience of this video, even thought it is a video for black history month. This could also reach people who are looking into joining the college and parents of those pupils. Gaining more interest in applying to the college and being part of the Stanmore College community.

Planning of the production:
This is our call sheet that helped us be prepared while filming the interviews and the b rolls, we had set times we had to interview teachers.
We had also prepared some questions before hand so that we were prepared for when we had to interview the teachers, and so that we had the same questions being answered in the video.
These are the questions that we had prepared for the interview, but we didn't ask all these questions, we chose the best ones and asked those to every interviewee instead.
Analysis of something similar
Ive looked at some interview videos that are similar to the type of video that we have created to see how the b roll comes in during the video. Ive looked at the structure of the videos what type of font and cuts they use and overall how they managed to target their audience.
Final Project:
Process of Making
We had problems one the first day of filming for this interview. We went around the college to interview the stuff that we had scheduled to interview. This first person we interviewed we had filmed in slow motion because we had forgotten to turn off the slow motion setting when filming some B-rolls for the video. So when looking back at the footage we realised this and made changes to the camera settings. Only the b-roll of this was useable. So later on the same day we had other stuff members and we were able to get some good footages and we also went around getting more b roll and ended up getting a unplanned interview with another stuff member.
As we had some problems when filming the first interview, we had to arrange another time to interview the same stuff member again and on this day we were also able to interview some students and were able to get some better footage from last time.
After collecting all the footages needed for this video, I started to but the video together on Adobe Premiere Pro. Where I first organised all the footages with a simple name so that I could easily access them later when editing. I collected all the useful parts of each footage and later on out them together. One slight problem we had was when it came to adding subtitles to the video. One of our student interviews had a slight mix up with word when answering the question. So we had to do some post production to that specific part of the video. We done this by asking the same student that we had interviewed to record that part of the answer again. This worked out perfectly as we used b roll to cover the speaker so the audio and visuals didn't look incorrect.
After putting together some of the footage we got the chance to show the draft of our video so that we could get some general feedback from our client and make any changes to the edit if they didn't like the style of the video, but they were happy with the progress and dint want us to change anything. We were able to continue as normal after getting that confirmation from our client.
Client feedback of final product
After we finished the product we made sure to ask our client how they liked the final product and they were happy with everything.
This is a feedback sheet we made them fill out for any future changes we should keep in mind for when we work with any other client. This is very helpful to me as I could know my do's and don'ts for other projects.
Final Evaluation

Our client wanted a video for black history month, minimum 30 seconds that would be shown in classes around the college and also be posted on the colleges social media. We were given a deadline for the project but we were able to finish it before it. We made sure that we targeted the college audience and showcase the community of Stanmore college.
During making this product I looked at similar product that had the same audience, this helped me create questions that will attract the correct audience. The answers that were given by the interviewees were just the type of answers I was expecting, it helps the college get attention from new coming students. Ive realised that the audiences attention is grabbed when the video is more active, for example this video wouldn't reach much of the audience if the video didn't start off with a question. The question at the start helps grab the audiences attention.
My work meets the needs of my audiences as the video answers the student questions about how the college is for the students and also how it is as a community. These type of queries a student might have are answered in this product. I am personally very happy about how the video has turned out and how everything put together looks well planned. As this was my first time making a video like this I was spectacle of how it could turn out and how I would be able to create something like this, but Im surprised that it has turned out way better than I expected. What I liked the most about the video is how we were able to merge the answers of the teachers together to make it seem as if they were answering same question, and get different styles of answers in the video by doing so. From this product Ive learnt to always double check the settings of my equipment, and how important it is too be prepared before filming.
